Diabolik Lovers: More Blood

Hello, this is going to be my first review, EVER... So I hope it would be satisfying enough though, I have to say sorry beforehand because my English is not that good. So, the first otome game I would review is.... DIABOLIK LOVERS: More Blood! Yay!

So, ladies and gentleman, first of all, let me remind you to prepare your heart, because this game is... CRUEL, DISGUSTING, and yet.... SUPER DUPER SEXY AND EROTIC. Ahem, yesss I am serious, the game is just, urghhh... The earlier Diabolik Lovers was also sexy but this game is more more more more... Just like the tittle says : More Blood. Yes yes, now I understand why they named it THAT.

Firstly, for you who hasn't heard about Diabolik Lovers before, I will explain a little about the background.

The protagonist is still Yui Komori, a 17 years old girl who was adopted and raised by Seiji Komori, a vampire hunter who owned a church. When she was 17 years old, her father told her to go to Sakamaki Manor before disappeared. In the manor, she met six vampire brothers, who are not only sexy but also cruel and sadist. Yui lived in the manor as a kind of housekeeper (and food supply ha-ha) for the vampires.

In the earlier game, it had been explained that Yui had Cordelia's heart (Cordelia is the mother of 3 of Sakamaki's brothers) which was the reason why Yui's blood has some kind of power which could make anyone who suck her blood gained more power. This is also what makes Yui "special".

In this game, you apparently could choose 6 different routes at first (Shuu, Reiji, Ayato, Kanato, Laito, and Subaru) at first, and after you've cleared one of these routes, you could choose 4 more routes (Ruki, Kou, Yuma, and Azusa)

It started when you see a man and he told you about "Adam" and "Eve". Apparently You were "Eve" who had the blood of the demon king's daughter (Cordelia) and you've to find your "Adam" whom would get more power from your blood. And thus the story began... In this game, Ruki, Kou, Yuma and Azusa were the "enemy" of the Sakamaki, their mission is to get "Eve". For their further background story would be explained in separate posts.

*after clearing 1 route, when you start new game, you have new choices, to rest (休み)　or to stay awake (起きる) If you rest, you will continue to choose one of 6 main routes (Shuu, Reiji, Ayato, Kanato, Reiji, and Subaru) while if you stay away you will walk to the garden and meet the 4 vampires (Ruki, Kou, Yuma and Azusa).

I am not really sure about the timeline in this game, because after-all, I cannot really relate the first game's ending to this one so, maybe if you played the first game, you can just ignore the ending you've gotten since it was impossible to say that this game is the continuation of the previous game if you (or the vampires) were killed in the previous game's endings. Judging from their current age, this game happens in the same year with the previous game. Their age is Shuu (19), Reiji (18), Ayato, Kanato, Laito (17), Subaru (16) and Yui is the same age with the triplet.

I am not really sure about these 4 new vampires since I haven't played their route but anything about them would be added later in my next posts... I would update one each time I finished a route.

I haven't finished this game, actually, only cleared 2 routes and 1 on going, but let me tell you, this game is more than the first one. Though this time you can only get 8 event graphics for each route and only 3 heaven scenarios for each route, but I think it is understandable since there are 10 routes now instead of only 6.

Though there are less event graphics you could get for each route, it didn't disappoint me. Actually, I didn't really bother about the graphic because the audio you get is just asdfghjkl holy shit Rejet has done very well this time. I really beg you to use your head set this time or else you won't get the effect! How the guys whisper in your left ear and suddenly moved to your right side.... It still tingle me just imagining Ayato's sexy voice... Like, uwaaaaa.... And again, YOU HAVE TO PLAY IT ALONE. I don't recommend you to play it in public or with kids around. Haha, there is a reason why this game is rated CERO D... We don't want you to fall down because your knees weakened all of sudden. You don't have to understand Japanese to get wet from listening to their moaning. (YES they moaned every now and then.)

Well, the graphic is reaaaaaaaally nice, though some guys have silly poses (I still can't get Ruki's pose, like WHY RUKI, WHY?!) but still, I think this game has one of the nicest art ever~! The audio is still the best thing I like from the game (the Seiyuu's are not my fave Seiyuus but still their voice act is sooooooo good. So far, I like it when they suck Yui's blood as much as when they kiss her, it's just too sexy) and the game play is... well what can I say? This is a otome game after all. For the plot, well it is unique. I've played some dark otoge but maybe this really dark. I hate to see the bruto endings but I still have to see it. So I always complete all ending first before I see them (bruto first, then manservant before I quickly see the best ending to forget all the previous endings I've seen).





Just like the first game, this time, each routes also have 3 main part, DARK, MANIAC and ECSTASY. Each part contains:
-Prologue
-Chapter 1-6 (Situation)
-Chapter 7-10 (Story)
-Epilogue

Each route has 3 endings: Bruto Ending, Manservant Ending, Vampire Ending

To get Bruto ending, you should have less than 40pts for either your S or M point.
To get Manservant Ending, you should have more than 45pts for your S point
To get Vampire Ending, you should have more than 45pts for your M point.

In this game, you would meet Karl Hein, the vampire king who is also Sakamaki's Brother's father. Since I haven't finished ALL routes I couldn't write much about him, but I would write different post about each route so stay tune!
